This week in the villages: We may still be in the throes of winter temps, but the area is gearing up for summer. The Village of Nyack is looking to hire summer help for Memorial Park. The Town of Clarkstown Recreation and Parks Department is also looking to fill various summer positions. Volunteers are still needed for the Nyack Citizen Advisory Committee, with the first meeting set for Tuesday. And get those resusable bags ready: the plastic bag ban begins in New York State on March 1.
