Nyack Art Collective First Friday

Friday, August 7, 7-9 p.m., The Burger Loft, 3 N Broadway, Nyack

The Nyack Art Collective is an organization of over 80 talented artists from the Nyack area.  They hold a First Friday member’s exhibit on the first Friday of every month at The Burger Loft where everyone is welcome to view and purchase art, meet the artists, and eat their hearts out.

Poets of Two Shores

Saturday, August 8, 2-3:30 p.m., Nyack Library, 59 S Broadway, Nyack

Rockland County Poet Laureate Juan Pablo Mobili and Mamaroneck Poet Laureate Melissa Joplin Higley will be reading and having a Q&A. 

The afternoon also features four other poets from both shores of the Hudson River.  This is an in-person event at the library  but there is also a virtual Zoom option for those who cannot attend in person.

Gospel Music In The Park 2026

Saturday, August 8, 1-8 p.m., Rockland Lake State Park, 299 Rockland Lake Rd, Valley Cottage

Gospel Music In The Park 2026 will feature artists from the NY tri-state area and will also have vendors, a fashion show, prayer stations. This year we will also have free haircuts available plus a book bag drive. Come and enjoy this fun-filled event for the whole family.

Music on the Hudson Presents: TAM JAM

Tuesday, August 11, 7-9 p.m., Memorial Park, 51 Piermont Ave, Nyack

Tam Jam is a robust and creative musical community that organizes an open-mic at Mekong District, a Vietnamese Kitchen & Tap on Main Street in Nyack. The stable of local musicians will offer an evening of Motown and Disco classics!

Jazz in the Garden Summer Concert Series: Annette St. John & Journie

Thursday, August 13, 7-9 p.m., Edward Hopper House Museum and Study Center, 82 N Broadway, Nyack

Soup Angels Closed for Renovations

Soup Angels will be renovating their kitchen between August 1 and August
30. Their dining room will be closed for the duration of the renovation.
