Xmas & New Years, TZx & TOR, Metro North Service

If you are taking mass transit during the 2015 holiday season, here’s info you’ll want to know about taking the TZx and TOR buses and Metro North trains.

Transit of Rockland (TOR): Xmas Day and New Years’ days will be typical Sundays…even though they are Fridays. Look to the Sunday schedule for TOR routes #59, #91, #92, #93 and Loops #1, #2 and #3. There will be NO service on TOR routes #94, #95 or #97.

Metro North: On Xmas eve and New Years eve, there will be an “early getaway service” beginning at 12n with trains added and some trains combined. A regular weekday evening schedule resumes after 8:15p. Special holiday schedules can be found at mta.info.
