Nyack’s Farmers’ Market will operate indoors at the Nyack Center through March 27. Organized by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, the farmers’ market has proven a bountiful harvest with a yield of 800 to 1000 shoppers a week when outdoors. Last Thursday’s opening day, that featured Blues legend Sam Waymon, was packed.

In July 2012, the orchard celebrated their 300th birthday, making them the oldest family operated business in New York State and the 8th oldest in the nation.

The market will be closed the day after Christmas.
The indoor market will operate through March 27, 2014, after which it returns to the Main St. municipal parking lot.
