Alice Mizrachi works alongside the Museum’s Nighthawks Teen Leaders to help create a collaborative anniversary mural.
Murals by will be unveiled at the Night Hawk in Concert at 3:00pm
Celebrate 55 years of creative legacy with atmospheric live music, façade projections, and the unveiling of the community-created anniversary mural. Night Hawk is Indie band whose acclaimed atmospheric original music is inspired from Hopper’s cinematic imagery. Intimate pre-concert reception will officially unveil the new stage murals by Hamlin, Hart and Mizrachi
Rendering River Hook – Sketch & Scribe Mob

“Rendering River Hook” will be a collective landscape appreciation session, rendering the essence of River Hook through words or imagery, guided by Bill Batson. Bring your chair, art supplies and/or writing supplies and set up at an assigned spot along the River Hook Preserve path. Your resulting work will be displayed during the reception the following day. Advance registration and a small fee are required:

Perry Lawson presents The Next Gesture: A Chris Soria/Misha Tyutyunik Collaboration

Their collaboration merges two distinct voices into a unified expression, prioritizing their shared visual language over individual contributions. Their process embraces both structure and spontaneity, allowing moments of precision and improvisation to coexist, resulting in paintings that feel at once intentional and alive.
Chris Soria specializes in large-scale murals and dimensional art, working in painting, photo-collage, digital art, and ephemeral mediums. He has created and collaborated on works in public, private, and shared spaces for more than 20 years, with dozens of murals and street art throughout NYC and beyond.
Misha Tyutyunik is a Ukrainian-born painter, muralist, street artist, illustrator, and virtual reality artist, living and working out of Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of Pratt Institute, he works with communities around the world to create public art and is regularly commissioned to paint and illustrate for many reputable brands, publications and collectors.
Cajun Music and Dance
Sunday, June 28 (Dance Lesson, 4:00pm Dance Party 4:30pm) at The Angel
A special evening with T’Marie & Bayou Juju, a Louisiana dance band from New Orleans bringing an infectious mix of Cajun, Creole, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, New Orleans R&B, and original music rooted in the traditions of South Louisiana. Led by fiddler, vocalist, and songwriter Marie Isabelle, the band serves up a fresh take on Louisiana’s dance music traditions while weaving in original songs imbued with that good juju from the bayou.
Drawing equally from dance hall favorites and contemporary influences, T’Marie & Bayou Juju deliver an energetic, soulful sound that’s joyful, heartfelt, and made for dancing.
Cajun dance lesson at 4:00pm, followed by T Marie & Bayou Juju from 4:30pm – 7:00pm.
Whether you’re brand new to Cajun dancing or a longtime two-stepper, all are welcome on the dance floor.

Nyack is THE place to be for the upcoming 4th of July weekend as we celebrate USA250 and Fútbol from July 2nd-July 5th!

The action kicks off on July 2nd at the Nyack Farmers Market where we’ll be grilling up and giving away 250 hotdogs!
Stick around for a Classic Car Show for the ages that will include live music, world class dining & shopping, and a family friendly outdoor screening of the movie “Cars” in the Hezekiah Easter Veterans Square parking lot.
Friday, July 3
Nyack will be in full swing all day. Take a walk down to the upper level of Memorial Park where we’ll be transforming it into a Kids’ Freedom Zone featuring bounce houses, games & free treats for the kiddos!
Downtown Nyack will feature live Music, a Reading of the Declaration of Independence, a Time Capsule & More!
Head back down to Memorial park as the BIG SWING TIME BAND takes the stage at 7:00 PM!
And be sure to stick around for our Spectacular Fireworks Show at approximately 9:15 PM overlooking the Hudson!
