Druids Congregate and Conjure Relations in Nyack

Enjoy all the sights from Nyack’s first ever DruidFest, frame by frame.

Druids flaunted their style and connection to nature during DruidFest, which took place at the Nyack Beach State Park boathouse and other venues in town. (All photos by Andrea Swenson — scroll down for a full slideshow from the event.)

DruidFest, the brainchild of Modern Druid founder Morgana Brennan, was designed to be “a contemporary gathering shaped by ancient instinct to come together on the land, to listen, to learn, and to honor community.” The all-day event on Saturday, May 9, featured live music, performances, local vendors, hands-on activities, and family-friendly experiences.

According to its website, DruidFest is “not a festival built for consumption, but a gathering shaped through reciprocity. We honor the land that holds us, the artists who share their gifts, and the community that brings it all to life.”

Andrea Swenson was on hand to capture it all in her latest Photo Shoot. Enjoy!
