Spring Events Pop Up In Nyack

Springtime in Nyack marks the start of countless events and activities for all ages, with plenty more to look forward to as we head into summer and fall. Some popular events this spring include the Palisades carnival, a secondhand clothing pop-up, Nyack Restaurant Week, and so much more.

As seen on signs around Nyack, the annual carnival at Palisades Mall runs April 10th through April 26th. The carnival is a popular meetup spot for many teens and will hopefully continue to be one of the beloved spring traditions.

On April 18th, from 11AM to 5PM, the 2026 Secondhand Hop will take over downtown Nyack. Participating stores include: Modern Druid Shop & Studio, Lemonade Shop, Hippie Dippie Threads, Honor and Blume Jewelry, Main Street Beat, Trilogy Consignment, and Second Chance Shoppe Nyack.

Also on April 18th is the STAC Earth Day Fest. From 12–5PM on the front lawn, the celebration will feature music, vendors, food, and beverages — an event for all ages and a perfect way to welcome spring.

April 13th through 19th is Nyack Restaurant Week. Many restaurants and businesses are participating with special menus, deals, and offers. However you’re celebrating, it’s a great opportunity to support our local restaurants.

Don’t forget Nyack’s annual parades: the Memorial Day parade, African American Day parade, and Rockland Pride parade. All three feature vendors and marching bands — including our own Nyack Red Storm Marching Band. Everyone I’ve spoken with in the band speaks highly of the experience. Connections and memories made during high school years stay with you, and the marching band is a wonderful outlet for that. More information can be found on the Nyack Marching Band website.

The next Nyack street fair is coming May 17th. As always, expect great food, vendors, and more. Nyack Street Fairs are a great outing for people of all ages, especially families.

Although the Nyack Farmers Market runs year-round, it remains a staple of spring in Nyack. Hours are 8AM–2PM, with more information and participating vendors available on the Nyack Chamber website.
