Scenes from the Arts and Crafts Walk, which brought together a diverse multitude of local artists, makers and musicians for a two-day extravaganza that grooved throughout Nyack. These shots were taken on Sunday, October 4. (All photos taken by Andrea Swenson. Keep scrolling for more photos and a full slideshow from the event.)
Nyack once again flexed its artsy muscles during the recent Arts and Crafts Walk — a two-day long ode to Nyack’s unique blend of artists, artisans, makers and musicians.
The event, organized by the New York-based, maker-centric group Trade and Prosper, featured two pop-up markets (at Memorial and Easter Square parks ), exclusive deals from local shops and restaurants, and live music, including a drum circle by harmony architect Glenn Schloss (part of which you witnessed above and see much more of below!).
Fortunately, our artsy and artisinal photographer Andrea Swenson was on the walk and captured the scenes from the event on Saturday, October 4. It’s our latest Photo Shoot! (Scroll down for more photos and a full slideshow.)
