Rockland Riverway Trail Walking Tours

This summer, Rockland County is hosting in-person walking tours along different segments of the Rockland Riverway Trail to gather input from residents and the community to shape the future design of the Trail.
- Orangetown – Nyack Route (Segments 1 & 2): Wednesday, July 9
- Haverstraw – Stony Point Route (Segments 6 & 7): Thursday, July 10
- Piermont – Grand-View-on-Hudson Route (Segment 3): Wednesday, July 16
- Stony Point – Route 9W Route (Segments 8 & 9): Thursday, July 17

She is also a cartoonist, illustrator, and installation designer. When she isn’t hunched over her art table trying to make something funny or beautiful, Sam enjoys gardening, cycling, and making music. She lives in Nyack with her family.
Penguin Rep Theatre Premieres Son of Zeus

Nyack Street Fair

Get ready for the ultimate shopping and dining day at the Nyack Famous Street Fair. It is a perfect summer event with over three hundred exhibitors from five states, with an excellent selection of arts and crafts, new retail items, unique gifts, home décor and festival foods.
Shoppers can view a wide selection of handmade items including pottery, art, hand crafted jewelry, clothing, soaps, candles, photography, fiber to woodworkers, mixed media and more will be on display. Also, great retail booths featuring apparel, jewelry, children’s, garden items, toys, signs, home décor offer a great variety of unique shopping experiences.
Festival food favorites will be on hand with all kinds of delicious food and drinks including Cousins Lobster truck, empanadas, Italian, Greek, Jamaican, Latin, Thai, Mexican, Zeppole’s, American, and more. Waldo will be hiding inside several local businesses, and you have the entire month of July to find him. Searching for Waldo is a fun way to explore and support local businesses in Nyack.
Get your official stamp sheet on Tuesday, July 1 at Big Red Books and start hunting at any one of the participating businesses (they’ll be posted soon).
If you find 10 Waldos, you can return your passport to Big Red Books for a Waldo sticker and a coupon for $1 off Waldo books. If you find 20 Waldos, you’ll get the same plus entry into their prize drawings on August 3! The Waldo hunt concludes at the end of July.
