18th Annual Penguin Plunge

Sunday, March 2, 12:00 – 2:00pm, Nyack Memorial Park, Nyack

The Penguin Plunge is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit group that works to help the families of seriously ill children meet their medical and support costs as they focus on their children’s health. We are a 100% volunteer group located in Rockland County, NY, and each year our “colony” of penguins hosts an icy plunge into the Hudson River in honor of the children we sponsor. Since our founding in 2007, we have helped 39 children and raised over one million dollars in total contributions. This year, the plunge supports  Brielle Gaine and Luke Garrecht from Tappan and Zach Dolinsky from Nyack. You can donate here.

Plunge Day is the grand culmination of nearly a year-long effort to raise funds for the families we sponsor. As such, we throw quite the party!

A post penguin plunge party will be held at Casa del Sol, 104 Main St, Nyack. $20 suggested donation at the door. Music featuring the Buddy Boys. All money collected goes to Luke, Brielle and Zachary.
