Nyack Fresh Market invites Public for Candid Conversation

Tuesday, February 25, 7:00pm, Nyack Village Hall, 9 N Broadway, Nyack

Nyack Fresh Market is asking from help from the commmunity to continue to provide a local supermarket option.

The owners and senior management hope to learn how they can better meet the needs of the village. Results of a survey currently being circulated on flyer and social media will be shared.

The supermarket, which opened in Febraury 2023, is the first to serve the local community since 1980.

Rona’s Blood Drive

Saturday, March 8, 11:00am-5:00pm, Nyack Library, 59 S Broadway, Nyack

The parents of Rona Edwards invite you to the 2nd Annual Rona Edwards Memorial Blood Drive at the Nyack Library on Saturday, March 8th. The drive the will take place in the community room (lower level) from 11:00am-5:00pm. 

Rona died in September of 2023 at the age of six from complications from a stem cell transplant to treat Aplastic Anemia, a rare form of bone marrow failure. In the seven months preceding her death, Rona received more than 100 units of blood products, a combination of platelets, red blood cells, and granulocytes. The kindness of strangers kept Rona alive for seven months.

The drive will honor Rona’s life by paying forward the kindness she received to help other individuals in need of the life saving gift of blood. To learn more and to sign-up for an appointment, please visit:

10th Annual New York Fathering Conference

Rockland County Warming Center

7 days a week, 7:00pm, Corner of S Broadway and Burd Street, Nyack

Anyone in need of shelter can come to the corner of South Broadway and Burd Street at 7:00pm., seven days a week, for a ride to the Warming Center. This public service includes a hot meal, a place to rest overnight and a hot shower as well as access to essential services.
