Bill Batson’s Pop-Up Shop

Bill Batson’s pop-up shop is open for the month of December at 6 South Broadway, sharing space with Le Petit Pickwick. Bill has original art depicting Nyack and NYC for sale and well as a full range of Nyack Sketch Log inspired gear.

Bill will host a Pop-up Boutique on the weekend of December 13, 14 & 15 with photography by Collette Fournier, pottery by Marc Cohen and fashion by Toma Holley.

Main Street Beat Turns Ten

December 14, 5-8pm, 95 Main St. Nyack

There will be a big cake, cicchetti from Salonniere Kitchen & Market , sparkling bevs, DJ Vision Quest playing records and a special holiday performance by Saundra Williams, a singer and songwriter who tours regularly with Mavis Staples and many others and was a member of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. Williams wrote Amy and Jen’s favorite Christmas song on a record called, “Big Bulbs.”

10th anniversary revelers will a special rendition from Saundra — backed by a few faces you might recognize.

Story Space Arts Presents Gather: Songs & Stories

Saturday, December 14, 8pm at Studio 101. 48 Burd Street

An evening of women and non-binary music and sound artists. Celebrating seven years of StorySpace Arts, hosted by K. Elevitch.

Rockland County Choral Society Winter Concert

Sunday, December 15 at 3p at Dominican Convent at 175 Route 340 in Sparkill

Their Winter Concert will feature the theme “Gaudete! Rejoice!” with music from Bach ‘s “Cantata 142”, Handel’s “For Unto Us a Child is Born”, a lively Pinkham’s “Christmas Cantata” , peaceful “Cradle Hymn”,an upbeat “Gaudete” from the 16th century and more. Please join the Rockland County Choral Society and musicians on oboe, strings, flute, percussion and organ.

General Admission: $20, Seniors/Students: $15, Children under 12: Free

Blank-Fest
Sunday, December 15th at Hudson House Restaurant, 134 Main St., Nyack

The 28th annual Blank-Fest will bring musicians and other performers together on Sunday to support the unhoused. More than 20 performers are already lined up, admission is one blanket.

Nyack Holiday Village

The Most Magical Holiday Season in Nyack is here!

Nyack Holiday Village is a a festive wonderland packed with joy, laughter, and community spirit!

Program includes drop-off events for kids, decorating contests, and a holiday music festival.

The Workshops are Friday nights from 6:00-8:30pm and weekend afternoons from
12:00-4:00pm, and are all being managed by experienced staff from the Nyack Center and Creative Arts Workshops, two local organizations that run pre- and after-school programs for kids all year long. Tickets are $25, with package discounts, and can be purchased here.

The Nyack Holiday Village promotion also includes a number of other programs
designed to give people a reason to visit Nyack during the holidays, including:

Holiday decorating contests for both business owners and residents, where
visitors can stroll the downtown district or drive through the residential areas and
vote for their favorite decorating jobs here.

The “Nyack Holiday Music Festival,” which will offer dozens of performances not
just in the public square but at local bars, restaurants, performance spaces,
churches, and other locations, with a music event calendar here.
