Launch Party for Rockland Fashion Week 2024
Hotel Nyack

Produced by Hope Wade Designs of Nyack, Fashion Week returns to Rockland. This year’s annual celebration of fashion is “Inspired by Nature” and culminates with a gala runway show set for Saturday, November 9 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Palisades Center mall, located at 1000 Palisades Center Drive in West Nyack.

There will be an official Launch Party hosted by Hotel Nyack on Friday night November 8 at 8:00pm where designers, models and sponsors can mingle.

The main runway event will showcase the work of 12 local and national designers, including Hope Wade’s own couture line. Entertainment will be offered by VPRecords artist Sugger and MC Qui Talks. The runway will be set up in front of the H&M store on the first floor of the mall.

As a warm-up to the runway event, Rockland Fashion Week will host their Pop Up Shop event on Friday November 8 in downtown Nyack with 26 participating stores from 12:00-6:00pm.

“We’re proud to present the amazing creativity of designers and make up artists in this annual celebration,” said Wade. “It showcases the wealth of talent we have right here in our local communities, and inspires all of us, including our young people, to explore opportunities in this fascinating industry. We are even more excited about Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Icon DARLENE LOVE walking the runway for the fashion show.”

Tickets for the big show are available on the link below. The VIP ticket choice includes an exclusive cocktail hour prior to the show at Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse, priority seating and a swag bag brimming with valuable gifts. Guests are encouraged to dress to show their personal ‘fashionista’ style.

Rockland Fashion Week has a strong community focus. Working with student volunteers from Clarkstown North High School in exposing them to all it takes behind the scenes to make a successful show come together.

The program will include a special donation to a non-profit organization of which the Martin Luther King Multi Purpose Center was the recipient last year , a community-based non-profit that provides supplemental educational, health, cultural, social and recreational programs that empower children, adults and elders to achieve personal success.

“Fashion Week is about beautiful clothes, but also about the beauty and strength we bring to the challenges we face in our every day lives,” said Wade.
