Nyack paid tribute to its Black history with a series of events, including an interactive multimedia exhibit, a sing-a-long, a drive-in style showing of the documentary “Summer of Soul” in the Artropee Way parking lot and a screening of “What Happened to Jackson Avenue”, a documentary about a lost Nyack neighborhood, back in mid-August. Our soulful photographer Andrea Swenson documented all the historically poignant fun for a late summer Photo Shoot … Enjoy!
