Solange Knowles moved to ‘a little town called Nyack’ and now she never wants to leave: Video

Solange Knowles is in the house. Like literally, she apparently can’t get enough of her new home in Nyack.

“I moved to a little town called Nyack… so I moved there and now that I’m there I like never want to leave,” said the  Grammy-winning artist (who just happens to have a sister named Beyoncé) in a video posted online, which Nyack News and Views could not independently verify despite attempts to reach Solange and the posters.

Tionna Smalls, a realtor who says she puts the “real in real estate,” reposted the TikTok video of Solange loving on Nyack, using the star’s stamp of approval as an opportunity to rep Rockland:

“She definitely is up on what is next. If you are looking in that area, please call me,” she writes.

Solange certainly is a trend-setter.

One X user reacting to the news wrote: “lol so Solange lives in Nyack now? Honestly she has the right idea.”

Solange, who is a visual artist in addition to being a singer and song-writer, is known for her range.

She recently composed a commissioned score for Play Time, choreographed by Gianna Reisen, for the New York City Ballet; The Harvard Foundation named her Artist of the Year in 2018 and she’s a published author and actress. She founded and then expanded Saint Heron, which Vogue calls a “multidisciplinary creative studio.”

Nobody we’ve talked to has seen Solange’s alleged Nyack pad yet, but if it’s anything like her Hollywood loft, you’ll be lucky to get a seat at her table.

An article in the November 2022 issue of Apartamento called her West Coast crib “a mix of organic modernism, her own furniture designs, and Black art and vernacular objects she has collected over the years… the private residuum of a nomadic life spent travelling around the world and making art.”

“Beyond all of this, the space looks very fly,” the piece continues. “It almost goes without saying, Solange Knowles is very fly.”
