Creatures, Cuteness and Canines Highlight Nyack Halloween Parade

Thousands of spirited revelers descended on downtown Nyack for its annual Halloween parade on Saturday. Enjoy the action in pictures.

The wild, weird and wicked descended on downtown Nyack on Saturday for the 34th annual holiday parade. The Nyack Chamber of Commerce estimated that some 20,000 people were on hand to take in all the action and activities leading up to the parade. Our photographer and amateur ghost hunter Andrea Swenson documented the whole scary saga for this week’s Photo Shoot. (There’s was so much action, we needed to break it up into three separate slideshows. Enjoy!)
