The ‘Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth’ Makes Its Mark on Rockland

Last weekend, Nyack News & Views trained its lens on the self-proclaimed “Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth”, also known as the Hudson Valley Maker Faire presented by the Garnerville Arts Center. For the uninitiated, the Maker Faire is a “gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these ‘makers’ to show hobbies, experiments, projects.” Enjoy the art and good vibes captured by our own resident artist, photographer Andrea Swenson, in the two slideshows below. Hopefully, it will inspire you to make some art yourself! (Check out more of Andrea’s recent Photo Shoots here.)
