Rock stars of all ages performed at the Nyack Center on Sunday, April 30, as part of the Center of Rock benefit concert, a fundraiser for the nonprofit community center on South Broadway. The concert, which included dozens of performances, plus treats from Bongos Fries, Ruthies Scrumptious Cupcakes, Salonniere as well as caricatures from Dan Springer, went on despite a steady downpour. In a Facebook post, the center wrote: “The pouring rain couldn’t dampen the warm community vibes!” Nyack News and Views photographer Andrea Swenson captured the vibes for this week’s Photo Shoot.
