For those about to plant, we salute you with this week’s recommendation. Naturalist Stephanie Reger will give a Dahlia talk on April 1st at 10:30am and 12:30pm in the Ketari Lodge at Marydell Faith and Life Center.
Stephanie’s talk will address common Dahlia growing techniques and discuss other roles that Dahlias can play in your garden, including the support of pollinators. Stephanie’s approach is influenced by permaculture training grounded in total ecology considerations and interactions from below the soil up!
A wide selection of tubers for a variety of mid-sized Dalhias from Reger’s upstate garden will be available for sale. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Garden at Marydell.
