New Nyack Schools Super Debuts and More Notes on March 7 Board Meeting

The March 7th Nyack School Board meeting was the first for new Superintendent Susan Yom. She reviewed her plan for the first 100 days, including interviews and focus groups with teachers and staff, students and community members.

Details about the plan can be found on the district website.

Yom has also created a survey to collect feedback from folks she may not have the chance to speak to, and she encourages everyone to share it with others. She will be sharing her findings from the first 100 days at a Board meeting in June.

The proposed new dress code policy was reviewed for a second time and will undergo additional changes before approval in the next Board meeting on March 21.
