We recommend you attend the 39th Martin Luther King Jr. Day Interfaith Commemorative Service organized by the Nyack Branch of the NAACP on January 16th at 2pm at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 80 North Franklin Street.

In Dr. King’s spirit, we also hope that you attend a rally on Sunday, January 15 at 3pm in support of the Rockland Pride Center, in response to hateful rhetoric scrawled on their building on Wednesday. The Pride Center is located at the corner of S. Franklin Street and Bayard Rustin Way in Nyack. Bayard Rustin is an LGBTQ icon who was one of Dr. King’s most trusted advisors.
