On Sun, Feb 23 at 4p, GraceMusic presents Conservatory Strings featuring Barefoot Quartet, formerly known as Groove Quartet.
This young quartet from the SUNY Purchase Conservatory is equally at home in the classics as the contemporary. The group will play Debussy’s String Quartet in G minor, Haydn’s String Quartet No. 5 in G major, and in celebration of our 50th season, Haitian-born composer Jean “Rudy” Perrault’s lovely String Quartet No. 2 (Zombie: Origin & Evolution).
A meet-the-artists reception will follow the concert.
