This week in the villages: Start those 2020 New Year’s resolutions off right by walking or running with your friends, family, and neighbors in the fourth annual Resolution Run to end the hunger crisis in Nyack. And there will be holiday closures and transportation schedule changes due to the New Year’s holiday.
2020 Resolution Run – Sat, Jan 4
To celebrate the New Year, the Nyack river villages are ringing in 2020 with a resolution to end hunger in the community. On Sat, Jan 4th, the Nyack Hunger Coalition is asking everyone to join it for a 4 Mile fun run/walk to end the hunger crisis in Nyack. Rain, snow, or shine! Your donations will benefit The Nyack Hunger Coalition.
New Year’s Holiday Bus, Train Schedules
Hudson Link will run its weekend schedule on New Year’s Day, Wed Jan1.
Tue Dec 31: Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate a special schedule with reduced and combined trips.
New Year’s Day Jan 1: Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate hourly service

Food Drive for People to People
The Village of Upper Nyack will accept non-perishable food items for People to People until January 6, 2020. Please bring items to Village Hall for collection M-F from 9a-12p. A list of items may be found at www.uppernyack-ny.us.
