Nyack Weekender: Rolling By The River Into Summer

• Get On Your Feet at the Westchester Broadway Theatre and go behind the music and inside the real story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan who, in the face of adversity, found a way to land on their feet. • Rise and shine (early!) for Rockland’s Solace Sunrise Walk. • Bring the whole family for the 15th annual Dennis P. McHugh Run for Fun and Family Fair and enjoy a day filled with food, drinks, games, rides, live music, raffles, and more. 9:30a-4p, Piermont Library, 25 Fly Wheel Park, Piermont.

• Take home a classic read at Nyack Library’s big Summer Book Sale. 10a-4p, Nyack Library, 59 S Broadway, Nyack.

• Join Strawtown Studio artists Natalie Russell and Joanna Dickey, and experience drawing as a way to tune into nature. Stop by for the staged reading of Tennessee Williams’ The Two Character Play by the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. A playwright Felice and his actress sister Clare arrive on a bleak and dusty stage where they discover that the troupe they have been traveling with has abandoned them.
