On Sunday, October 21 at 4p, GraceMusic opens its 49th season with a high-energy trumpet ensemble performing a diverse and exciting program of works covering the Baroque, Romantic and Modern genres. All members play with the U. S. Military Academy Band at West Point and all hold positions in major performing groups in New York. Several live here in the Hudson Valley. Their program will include pieces by Benjamin Britten, George Antheil, and Joan Tower’s “Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman,” plus some up-tempo surprises.
