“What matters most is the music you hear in your head,” said Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy socialite and real-life figure in Penguin Rep Theatre’s new play Souvenir. Foster Jenkins’s story is affectionately told through the eyes of her longtime accompanist Cosme McMoon.
