The Villages: Splish Splash with the Deadheads

This week in the villages: Just in time for the sweltering heat, on Tuesday the new splash pad in Nyack’s Memorial Park makes its debut–this prior to the Music on the Hudson concert featuring Grateful Dead tribute band, Dead Meat.  Also on Tuesday, Metro-North will have an extra getaway train arriving in Tarrytown at 3:47p with a connecting Tappan Zee Express bus. On Wednesday, July 4th, all government offices, banks, and post offices will be closed. There will be no Tappan Zee Express service. Metro-North will operate on a Sunday schedule. Pyrotechnics lovers get a few more chances to view bursts of color in the night sky.
