Village of Nyack, June 28 — Three things to know on this rainy Thursday:

  • No trash today, but recycling is still good to go: Trash Collection is suspended today as DPW crews have been reassigned to road work, maintaining traffic control to assist the contractor milling streets prior to paving. Recycling will still be picked up as scheduled. The next trash pick up is Monday, July 2.
  • At tonight’s Nyack Village Board Workshop meeting, Pay-by-Plate Parking Presentation – Representatives of Parkeon, Duncan Solutions, and GTechna will present the new pay-by-plate technology for parking meters. 6:30p, Nyack Village Hall, 9 North Broadway.
  • You can pre-celebrate Independence Day on Saturday night when the Village of Nyack holds it’s annual fireworks display beginning around 9p.
