New’s Year’s Resolution: Time for a Change? (Help Wanted at NyackNewsAndViews)

Yes, this is another job opportunity that lets you work from home and set your own hours. But it’s also the rare opportunity where you can make a positive impact on your community, too. Ready for a change?
Nyack News And Views vert logoNyack News And Views is looking for a part-time salesperson. Each month, NNaV delivers between 35,000-50,000 page views to as many as 15,000 people. And we are more than just Nyack: 70% of our delivery is outside of Rockland with 1 out of 4 site visitors reading our pages from New York City. (We didn’t pull these numbers out of thin air. We pulled them out of Google Analytics.)
We cover local arts, politics and municipal happenings. Our Friday feature, the Nyack Weekender, is the acknowledged “go to” source for what to do and where to do it around the Nyacks. Nyack Sketch Log, and Nyack People and Places showcase local art, culture, history and the people who make our community a special place. Our award winning environmental series Earth Matters provides “news you can use” about living in the Lower Hudson. Chronicles of Parenting has laughs and insights to the hair raising ride called child raising. Each Monday The Villages run down municipal events in and near Nyack. We’ve even created two popular web pages that can help you get around in a car and get around without a car.
We love sponsorships where we can share our audience and co-brand with local advertisers. We have a great track record building long term marketing relationships that pay off for merchants and Lower Hudson businesses and non-profits.
We have an upscale, engaged audience, consistent content and a great brand. What we need is a self starter who can help us connect with local merchants and regional advertisers to tell our story. If that’s you, please email your resume and tell us a little bit about yourself.
