This weekend be prepared to roar with laughter and experience music like you never have before. On Saturday, Rx: Laughter at the Nyack Village Theatre will leave you in stitches and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams at The Turning Point brings you a musical experience like no other. There’s lots of family fun with magic & music, a barn dance, a cyclo-cross race and a model aircraft exhibition. If you want to shop until you drop, there’s a fashion event and a handmade arts and crafts show to cross some names off that holiday list. Get ready for a riveting, mesmerizing, crazy, amazing machine of music as the Slambovian Circus of Dreams bring their rootsy psychedelica, hillbilly-Pink Floyd, folk-pop and surreal Americana to The Turning Point. Formed in Sleepy Hollow and influenced by the Waterboys, Bob Dylan, Bowie, Cracker, Pink Floyd, The Decemberists, Incredible String Band and Leonard Cohen, they pioneered the alt-folk circuit.
