The Gedney Street Project (TZ Vista) is in the final process of the environmental review. The discussion is on the agenda for the Monday, July 10 Planning Board meeting which begins at 7p in Village Hall. Read more are Nyack-ny.gov.
At 7p on Tuesday, July 11, Stevan Swann will perform in Memorial Park as the Nyack Park Conservancy continues the Music on the Hudson series. New for this year, you can place a picnic order with Upper Nyack’s Hartell’s Deli by 2p on Monday and it will be delivered right to the park. Visit the Nyack Park Conservancy to learn more about the Music on the Hudson series and learn how to place an online picnic order at Hartell’s Deli.
Nyack Hospital continues to offer free cancer screening clinics. The next screening is at The Breast Center at Nyack Hospital on Friday, July 28 from 8a – 3:30p. For more info, call 845-348-8551; for Spanish, 845-348-8582.
Village of Nyack
The Villages of Nyack and South Nyack will host a Pickleball Demonstration Day on Sat July 15 from 3-6p at the Franklin Tennis Courts in South Nyack. It’s free and open to the public. Stop by and see what it’s all about — and maybe even play a game or two! Sat July 15: A Pickleball Primer For The Nyacks will give you an idea of what this fast growing sport is about before you step on the court.
On July 6, the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) pulled the liquor license for the Nyack Pour House. The suspension will remain in effect until an expedited administrative law hearing can be convened to discuss the two June incidents when the SLA alleges the Pour House served alcohol to minors.

This week, TZB work continues roadway and aesthetic lighting fixtures and the installation of transparent noise barriers on the westbound Rockland approach.
