The Villages This Week: Jan 9

It’s back to business as usual this week in the villages. Here’s what’s on the municipal calendars in Upper Nyack, South Nyack and the Village of Nyack.
Also: If you live in the Nyack Villages or the hamlets covered by the Nyack School District, you can vote today (Mon Jan 9) in the annual Nyack Library Trustee election.

Village of Nyack

  • Mon 1/9, 7p: Planning Board Meeting
  • Tues 1/10, 5p: Justice Court
  • Thurs 1/12, 9:30a: Justice Court
  • Thurs 1/12, 4:30p: Board of Water Commissioners
  • Thurs 1/12, 6:30p: Village Board Pre-meeting Workshop
  • Thurs 1/12, 7:30p: Village Board Meeting

Please place Christmas trees curbside with all ornaments and tinsel removed. NO plastic wrap or bag
Nyack Village Hall is located at 9 N. Broadway.

Village of South Nyack

  • Mon 1/9, 5:30p: Justice Court
  • Tue 1/10, 7:30p: Board of Trustees: “Ample time will be dedicated during our open comment session to address residents’ questions regarding the future New NY Bridge Shared Use Path and the anticipated pedestrian and bicycle traffic it will bring to [South Nyack],” writes Mayor Bonnie Christian in her Mayor’s Update of Jan 6.

South Nyack Village Hall is located at 282 S Broadway.

Village of Upper Nyack

  • Mon 1/9, 6p: Architectural Review board
  • Thurs 1/12, 7p: Village Board Workshop

Upper Nyack Village Hall is located at 328 N. Broadway.

Nyack Library Trustees Election

Members of the Board of Trustees will be selected in the annual election on Mon Jan 9 from 11a to 7:30p in the Community Room of the Nyack Library. All members of the Nyack School District ?served by the Nyack Library are eligible to vote in the trustee election.
At 7:30p, the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees will take place in the Community Room of the Nyack Library. At that meeting, new and returning Trustees are seated and officer elections are held.
