Your Labor Day Weekend Guide To TzX And TOR

Commutes never sleep. But public transportation does. This Labor Day weekend, the Tappan Zee Express and Transport of Rockland buses will run on altered schedules. Don’t spend hours waiting for a bus that will never come. Consult the following list of updates before you travel.
On Friday, September 2nd:

  • Transport of Rockland (TOR) and TAPPAN ZEExpress (TZx) buses will operate a regular weekday schedule.
  • TZx bus will meet an early getaway Hudson Line Train departing Grand Central Terminal at 3:11 PM and arriving at Tarrytown Train Station at 3:47 PM and another leaving Grand Central Station at 6:00 PM and arriving at Tarrytown Train Station at 6:43 PM.
  • TRIPS paratransit will operate regular service.

On Saturday, September 3rd:

  • TOR and TZx buses will operate a regular Saturday schedule.
  • TRIPS paratransit will operate a regular limited Saturday service.

On Sunday, September 4th:

  • TOR buses will operate a regular Sunday schedule.
  • TZx does NOT operate on Sundays.
  • TRIPS paratransit will operate ADA service only.

On Monday, September 5th, Labor Day:

  • TOR will operate a Saturday schedule. No service on TOR 95 and TOR 97.  Regular weekday service on Loop #1 and Loop #2.
  • TZx will operate a Saturday schedule.
  • TRIPS paratransit will operate ADA service only.
