Nyack, July 4, 2016 — Clear skies and big crowds are predicted for tonight’s fireworks display in Memorial Park on the Hudson River. At about the same time Nyack starts its pyrotechnics show, look east and south across the Hudson for Sleepy Hollow‘s and Dobbs Ferry’s displays. The Village of Nyack will launch its aerial show from the west bank at shortly before 9p on Monday July 4.
The Nyack display can be seen from any place in the village where there is a clear view of the southeast sky.
Monday’s skyward shoot-em-up kicks off a busy week in the village. The Orangetown Community Concert Band performs on Tuesday night at Mostly Music in Memorial Park. On Thursday, Lynn Stein and Friends kick off the Music in the Garden series at the Edward Hopper House Art Center.
Because July 4th is a federal holiday, the regularly scheduled Monday trash pickup for Village of Nyack residents has been moved to Tuesday morning.
