Share stories about childbirth, pregnancy, and parenting at an open mike slam on Tuesday Jan 12at 8p in the Art Café, presented by MommaArts. 
The hosts describe this as the perfect event for any parents who have ever “sat around and thought about moments in your new parenting that moved you to laugh, cry, rage or feel profound joy… It’s going to be bold, cathartic, hilarious fun.”
MommaArts is a maternity agency run by Deirdre McLary and Kim Collins. They provide doula, postpartum, and newborn care in Rockland, Westchester, NYC and Northern New Jersey. They “conceived” this idea as an opportunity for parents to get up and share their own stories or just come out and enjoy a fun night out for some laughs, some great food, wine, and tea at the Art Café.
The Art Café is located at 65 S Broadway in Nyack. This a free event – but please pre-register if you plan to partake in the reading.
