Bring A Friend To Rowing on Rockland Lake

rra_paddles201106

River Rowing Association hosts “Bring A Friend To Rowing Day” on Sat July 11 from 9-11:30a at Rockland Lake State Park. Meet at Lot #6 to share the Rowing Experience with anyone age 12 or older. If you are new to the sport you can row on land using a rowing machine before going out on the water in a racing shell. Come learn about many benefits of rowing and the many programs that the RRA has to offer. As a bonus, you’ll get bagels and coffee, too!

To participate in the open house, please visit these pages to register and download a waiver which you will need to bring to Rockand Lake on Saturday.

You do not have to have a friend on the team to participate. There is no cost to row other than the Rockland Lake parking fee of $8. Drop-offs are permitted outside the toll booth and it is a short walk to the boathouse from there.
