The Night The Lights Went Out on Broadway

orangeandrocklandutilityNyack, July 21 8p — Tonight’s violent thunderstorm has caused power outages in the southwestern part of the village, from Main St to the South Nyack border. The traffic lights on South Broadway are also offline. A large tree that fell on power lines near Memorial Park is the source of these outages.

Orange and Rockland says about 215 customers are affected and they hope to have the situation corrected by 12m.

The Village of Nyack requests that people navigate around South Broadway and Piermont Ave until power is restored.
