Artists: Vyt Summer Show Submissions Due Fri

OpenCall_VytlacilCalling all artists living in Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Passaic and Bergen counties: The Elizabeth V. Sullivan Gallery at Vytlacil is looking for submissions for their Summer 2015 exhibition featuring works from artists living in and influenced by the lower Hudson Valley.  All submissions must be received by Friday, June 12, 2015.  Online registration accepted, $10 registration fee required.  Artists will receive 75% of the sale price of any works sold during the exhibit.

The Elizabeth V. Sullivan Gallery, located in historic Sparkill, NY, focuses on exhibitions by the Art Students League of New York’s exceptional faculty and friends.   Set amidst 15 acres of wooded grounds, the gallery and property was a generous gift of the family of late artist and Art Students League instructor, Vaclav Vytlacil.  The exhibitions enrich the resident and visitor experience at The Art Students League of New York’s international artist-in-residence program, The League Residency at Vyt.

Nyack People & Places, a weekly series that features photos and profiles of citizens and scenes near Nyack, NY, is sponsored by Sun River Health.
