See many of Clarksville’s historic and most charming and treasured homes in West Nyack on Sat May 16 as part of Blue Rock School’s Renovation & Restoration House Tour.
The 10a-4p self-guided tour includes a pastoral Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse, a stately Italianate, a quaint 1930’s woodland stone cottage and an Asian-styled bungalow.
In addition to the house tour, there will be a wine and hors d’oeuvre reception from 3PM to 5PM on the grounds of Blue Rock School located on the site of an 18th century Dutch farm at 110 Demarest Mill Road in West Nyack which was once the summer residence of famed fashion designer, Clare Potter.
The tour will take place rain or shine. Most homes on the tour will only be accessible via the shuttle service bus as parking is limited at each venue. All proceeds from the tour will benefit the Ruth Schaeffer Scholarship Fund, which makes an alternative education more accessible to children throughout the region.
The tour begins at 110 Demarest Mill Road in West Nyack. Tickets and tour booklets are available there throughout the day as well as directions for parking. Advance sale tickets may be purchased at brownpapertickets.com. Advance sale tickets are $40, day of event tickets are $45.
