Friday
- Hudson Valley PianoFest is an inspiring two days of Masterclasses, lecture demonstrations, piano ensembles, and concerts featuring world-class pianists and pedagogues like Sergei Babayan. Attend the entire weekend, or a single event. Masterclasses all day Fri & Sat. Concert by Sergei Babayan on Fri at 7:30p, Pardington Hall, 45 S. Boulevard, Nyack College.
- Musician Marc Berger presents Ride, a concept
album that explores his life-long love affair with the American West. Features world-class musicians on mandolin, harmonica, accordion and more. 8:30p at The Turning Point, 486 Piermont Ave, Piermont. - Less Than Zero performs rock & pop from the 70s until now. 9:30p at Casa Del Sol, 104 Main St, Nyack.
Saturday
Hike The Hook at Rockland Lake: Meet at the firehouse in Rockland Lake State Park at 9a for a challenging eight mile round-trip fitness walk. The hike will climb Hook Mtn and then descend to Nyack Beach State Park before returning along the flat river trail. For more information email rcamericorps@co.rockland.ny.us or call 845.708.7307. Exhibition and Installations with a focus on artists who create textiles using a variety of traditional and non-traditional techniques, plus artist talks and demonstrations. - Rivertown Film & OCADA presents Lion King, under the stars at Memorial Park in Nyack. Music provided by DJ starts at 7p, followed by the movie at dusk. Bring blankets and chairs.

- Carnegie Concert Series presents Rachmaninoff Complete Piano Works by Alexandre Moutouzkine. 7:30p at Nyack Library, 59 S. Broadway.

Sunday
- The Sheep and Wool Festival celebrates nature’s gifts through activities like fiber spinning, weaving, knitting, felting and plant dyeing. Visit sheep and bunnies, watch a puppet show and bid for unique handcrafted gifts. 10a-4p at Fiber Craft Studio, Threefold Educational Center, 275 Hungry Hollow Rd, Chestnut Ridge.
- Kiam Records hosts local faves, AbajadA, for an in-store set. After the band plays, the performance travels down to Memorial Park. 12:30p at Kiam Records, 95 Main St, Nyack.
