Nyack Library: Did You Know That Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday?

[info]Did you know …that tomorrow is Giving Tuesday?  Initiated in 2012 as a partnership between New York City’s 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation, Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back.  So get out there and volunteer for your favorite charity or community organization.  Or send them a check!  Nyack Library is appealing for help with maintaining and upgrading the technology they use to provide service and connectivity for our patrons.  “No one has ever become poor by giving.” -Anne Frank[/info]

Rachmaninoff Chamber Music

Violinist David Lisker, cellist Ben Capps, and pianist Vassily Primakov perform Rachmaninoff’s “elegiac” Piano Trios, which are dedicated to Rachmaninoff’s hero, Tchaikovshy. This powerful concert also includes the famous Cello Sonata, widely regarded as the greatest work written for cello and piano.
