See And Cycle The Hudson Valley This Summer

The Hudson Valley offers a lot of great sights to see each summer. Beginning on July 29, you’ll have a chance to ride the roads and take see the sights from Hudson, NY to New York City during the “Cycling the Hudson Valley Bike Tour” from July 29-August 3. The six day 200 mile ride includes an overnight stop in Nyack at the Upper Plateau of Nyack Beach State Park on August 2.

The 10th annual ride, produced by the non-profit Parks And Trails New York (PTNY.org), features stops at Kingston’s Stockade District and Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz, a visit to the Culinary Institute of America and West Point. The route includes about 35-40 miles of cycling each day. Each night includes camping in a different community where participants’ luggage is carried by volunteers. Six breakfasts and four dinners are included in the entry fee as well as nightly entertainment at each location.
