Spring! Theatre! In Nyack, Rockland and North Jersey

Too much drama in your life? Maybe it’s time to add some singing and dancing, too. Here’s a list of local productions on stage this Spring all within an hour’s drive of Nyack.

THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION: Penguin Rep Theatre

This comedy showcases two sisters Mary and Margaret who get a knock on their door from a young evangelist. The sisters forget about their southern charm and try to come up with a way to get the evangelist to leave. You will be laughing as the sisters try to stick to their faith and their morals. You will be both laughing and crying during this show. We are taken into the lives of four mentally challenged men and are shown how they live their lives. SPRING AWAKENING: The Garage Theatre Group

This Tony Award winning play focuses on the lives of several teenagers who are discovering their sexuality during the late 19th Century German culture.
