People to People: School Supplies Needed

by Diane Serratore, People To People

We are all in this together. And, right now, People to People needs your help to provide kids from low-income families — from North Rockland to South Nyack, from Spring Valley to Haverstraw, from Tompkins Cove to Tappan — with the school supplies they need to start the new school year successfully.

People to People Needs YOUR Help

Assure that Rockland kids from low-income
families go BACK TO SCHOOL WITH DIGNITY.

Right now, we NEED 1-inch and 2-inch binders, highlighters, blue and black stick pens, #2 pencils and two-pocket folders.

Donations of school supplies can be dropped off at PtoP’s offices at 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY. Donation drop-off hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9:30a to 6:30p Thursday and 9:30a to 12:30p Friday.

The parents of about 2,000 children in every Rockland town, village and hamlet are counting on PtoP to help provide backpacks and school supplies. In addition, People To People is working to give community centers, school-based Family Resource Centers and Rockland County social workers backpacks and school supplies for children in need.

I’ve been at PtoP since 2008 and I have NEVER SEEN such an outcry for help. So, if you CAN help PtoP provide our kids with the school supplies they need to go BACK TO SCHOOL WITH DIGNITY, then please do so.
