Nyack Village Theatre is hosting the second annual Nyack Film Festival from Thursday, August 15 -18. Among this year’s contenders are several local films including; the Amazing Grace Circus documentary Runaway Circus, Mario the Magician and Kal’s short, Building Magic, (that just won financial support through an exciting kickstarter campaign), Unsolid Ground, a short feature by Matthew Fleischmann about the building of a Wal-Mart in Suffern and three short films by Nyack High School student Lucas Ruderman (Lucas is Paula Dean, Sail, and A Silence)
