Rain, Rain, Drain Away: Hurricane Response Edition

The Nyack Library environmental program series continues on Monday 7/15 with “Drainage Around Your Home – Taking Precautions  Before The Next Hurricane Hits.”  The event is presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension and will take place from 6-8p.

Cornell Environmental Educator, Chuck Stead will talk about drainage issues caused by recent severe climate events. The program is focused on storm water mitigation, drainage alternatives and appropriate landscape design.

Cornell Cooperative Extension utilizes the research from Cornell and other land grant universities to help individuals, families, non-profits, businesses and municipalities improve their lives and communities through high quality, informal, educational programs designed to address current issues.
