TZx, TOR and MTA New Year’s Schedule

Don’t slip and slide into the new year on slick and icy roads: Let someone else handle that hassle! Here’s the public transportation schedule for the TZx, TOR and Metro North for New Year’s.

• TAPPAN ZEExpress: On 12/31, the TZx bus will operate on a normal weekday schedule. There will be no service on New Years Day.
• Transport Of Rockland: Normal service on New Year’s Eve. On Jan 1, TOR will operate a Sunday service schedule on routes #59, #91, #92, #93 and Loop #1, #2 and #3. There will be no service on TOR #94, #95 or #97.
• On 12/31, Metro-North trains will operate on a Saturday schedule with additional morning inbound and evening outbound service. On New Year’s Day, Metro-North trains will operate Holiday service. Go to www.mta.info or call 511 for schedule information.
• TRIPS buses: On the ‘eves, normal service. On New Year’s, TRIPS paratransit buses will operate A.D.A. service only.
