Learn To Row This Saturday

Nyack’s River Rowing Association is holding free introductory Learn-to’€Row sessions on Congers Lake at 12n on Saturday, May 26 for teens 12 and older and adults. Participants will be provided basic instruction by our professional coaching staff and will then row in two and four-­’€person rowing shells with experienced rowers.

We will also be providing demonstrations of our new 6’€person Outrigger Canoes ‘€“ offering free introductory paddling sessions throughout the three-­’€hour period. Youth (ages 10 and up) and adults are welcome.

Earlier in the day (from 9am to Noon), Congers Lake will be the site for both rowing and outrigger canoe races. Anyone interested is welcome to come watch the competition.
