Volunteer For The Bear Necessities

Do you have a love of nature? Do you enjoy sharing it with others? Trailside Museums and Zoo (a.k.a the Bear Mountain Zoo) is looking for volunteers for their educational programs. You just need a little spare time, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for interacting with the public. Whether it is leading a tour for schoolchildren, chatting with a family on the weekend, or pitching in at our special events, volunteering at trailside is a fun and rewarding way to be involved with the natural world, interesting people and a good cause.

Call or e-mail Trailside’s Environmental Educator, Chris O’Sullivan: (845) 786-2701 x293 or CHRIS.OSULLIVAN@PARKS.NY.GOV for more information.
