NyackNewsAndViews offered more than twenty candidates on the ballot in Nyack the opportunity to submit a “closing statement” for voters before the Tuesday Nov 8 General Election.
As we approach election day, we will publish the text that has been submitted by each candidate that responded to our invitation. Candidates are listed in random order.

- Orangetown Town Council: Paul Valentine (R), Robert Dell (D), Elijah Reichlin-Melnick (D), and Thomas Morr (R)
- Rockland County Legislature District 10 — Nyack, Upper Nyack: York Kleinhandler (R), Harriet Cornell (D)
- Rockland County Legislature District 17 — South Nyack: Guy DeVincenzo (R), Nancy Low-Hogan (D)
